ヌクヒバのASUKA II at Nuku Hiva

ASUKAIIは就航以来私の抱いていた夢を満たしてきてくれた。繰り返しこのブログでも書いているが、ひとつだけ残念なことは自分ののっている船が航行する姿を眺めたり写真をとったり出来ないことだ。

しかしどの港に着いたときも必ず写真におさめている。部分だけになってしまうときもあるし、全体のときはその美しさを十分おさめきれていないことばかりだ。何しろ巨大すぎて私の所有するカメラにおさまりきれない。

しかし、ここヌクヒバで自己満足のゆく写真に近いものが撮れた。2月26日はASUKA IIの就航3周年記念日である。ASUKA IIよ、素晴らしい日々をありがとう!!!

ASUKA II has been fulfilling my dreams since its inaugulation. As I repeatedly wrote, one thing I am sorry about my cruise is that I can never see the ship cruising while I am aboard. But I have never missed taking its pictures at each port. Some came out just a part of the ship, and the others not nicely enough, because the ship is too huge and my camera (Not me! lol) is not good enough to put in the total ship in one shot.

But here in Nuku Hiva, I took self-satisfactory photos of my beauty, ASUKA II. The twenty-sixth of February is her third anniversary. Thank you, ASUKA II, for many unforgettable memories!!
